When God called Moses from the burning bush, He wasn’t calling a confident leader. He wasn’t calling a polished speaker. He wasn’t calling a man who felt ready. He was calling a man who pushed back. And when we read his story in Exodus, it’s easy to shake our heads at how often Moses tried to deflect the Almighty God.
Moses questioned, resisted, doubted, and listed every insecurity he had. And yet—God never changed His assignment. Why?
Because the call was never about Moses’ ability. It was always about God’s might.

As this New Year begins, many of us find ourselves reassessing how we can grow. How can we do better this year? How can we draw closer to God? How can we become better friends, wives, mothers, or sisters? Sometimes the greatest change begins with a single step. We may not have a fully developed plan. We may not know how everything will unfold. But faith often starts before clarity arrives.
